Entry Requirements
Sound computer skills. Basic understanding of bookkeeping an advantage.
Course Description:
A short course for those who want to learn how to use a computer-based accounting system (MYOB) to perform basic bookkeeping procedures.
Content will cover:
-
- customising a company file
- processing sales / purchases
- processing cash transactions
- generating reports
- preparing bank reconciliations
- generating a BAS (Business Activity Statement)
Note: program focuses on PC compatible machines
Pathway:
Work / volunteering or home-based businesses requiring basic bookkeeping / MYOB skills.
Further study: qualifications within the Financial and Business Services Training Packages.
